DocForgeWelcome to DocForge ("DocForge", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service at trydocforge.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
DocForge lets you describe document templates, upload data, and generate PDFs at scale. Certain features are tied to paid plans, described on our Pricing page.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use DocForge.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
- One person per account; you may not share logins. For team use, subscribe to a Team plan and invite members.
3. Your content
You retain full ownership of the data you upload and the documents you generate. You grant DocForge a limited license to host, process, and display your content only as necessary to operate the service — e.g. running an AI model against your template or delivering generated PDFs back to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process the data you provide, including any personal data about customers or employees.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use DocForge to generate content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or circumvent our infrastructure.
- Interfere with other customers or place unreasonable load on shared resources.
- Use DocForge to send unsolicited bulk communications.
5. Fees and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, either monthly or annually. Charges are non-refundable except as stated in our Refund Policy.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice, effective on your next renewal.
6. Third-party services
DocForge relies on third-party infrastructure including Supabase (auth + database), Vercel (hosting), a cloud-based PDF rendering service, Stripe (billing), and large language model providers (via AI Gateway) to deliver the service. If you choose to connect a Google account, Google's own terms apply to that integration. Your content may transit through these providers subject to their own terms. A current list of sub-processors is available in our Privacy Policy.
7. Warranty and liability
DocForge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. After termination we retain minimal records as required for tax and legal compliance; everything else is deleted within 30 days.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to the address on file. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
